Hey guys, I'm brand new to BP too, and I'm interested in REI as well. I live in Arizona but I've found success at getting my feet wet by applying for internship positions in the field of Real Estate. I noticed that you, Kalifa, are almost done with your finance degree. I'm in school too but for business marketing, and I used my education as a way to land an internship to help me with my goals of real estate investment.

Hey everyone I'm Kyle,

I'm a Senior student at Arizona State University studying Business Marketing, and I'm brand new to Bigger Pockets. My real estate ambition began when I met some friends of my dad who have been flipping wholesale land for over 15 years. I've been flipping and collecting shoes since I was 12 years old, so I thought flipping land is right up my alley and not to mention a lot more profitable. I was fortunate enough to attain an internship for school with a company called LandStay in Scottsdale, AZ who specializes in wholesale land. I'm hoping that bigger pockets may help me with my real estate ventures as well as my internship for school by meeting new people and gaining insight from them. I appreciate any feedback or tips you may have for a young student such as myself. Looking forward to being a part of BP!

Congrats on joining BP Brian! You are not alone in your real estate ambition. I'm new to the REI world as well and one thing I have found success with so far is investing in wholesale land. It's a great way to generate revenue without dealing with the hassles of fixing and flipping multi family rentals. Good luck with your new endeavors. Like you said, no excuses!
