I would reach out to @Micah Thomas who can help you source properties. I would also get in touch with some property management companies/lenders/and contractors. (All of which I can help make introductions to).

You will want to meet the people you plan on doing business with - face to face meetings are so important. 

I would also drive different areas you are interested investing in.

@Rob Bianco There are a few “hybrid” turnkey providers in the KC area that will help you source deals, do the rehab, lease them, and manage them for you. We completed over 100 of these last year. Feel free to DM me and I’ll pass your information along to a few.

@David de Luna It really depends on what you're appetite is for rehab/what you're comfortable with location wise. Happy to chat with you. It's a crowded space, but the deals are still there. Less buyers when you get above 4 units.

SFR competition is high, we've found luck in providing OOS investors alternative ways to invest in larger assets and it is really the hot spot here in KC right now. If you can operate and manage the right assets, this market still has a lot to yield.
