So, in an effort to build up enough money to begin truly investing, I plan on starting wholesaling in hopes of helping to payoff my debt, as well as begin saving to purchase property.

However, I've run into a sort of analysis paralysis when it comes to wholesaling, and because I'm a perfectionist, I feel as though I need to have everything perfectly in order. I know that I'm a hands-on learner, so in order to feel 100% comfortable I need to just jump in & start, and just like anything else, it takes practice & consistency to learn, but I guess since REI is something that isn't as readily accepted or taught, the fear of it all just seems to be overwhelming sometimes.

These days you can just order them online from a local Realtor anywhere in the U.S. by using a comps service website. That's where I get all of my comps, easy, quick and a lot more accurate than a site like Zillow.

Taylor, can you elaborate please? Are you saying I should start my own podcasts or that I should contact podcast owners asking for guest appearances to get exposure so listeners will ask me to write guest posts?

All of us real estate site owners and bloggers are always looking for ways to get more content or backlinks to boost our rankings. I would love to here about what RE blogs, forums or sites you get backlinks from or guest post on (besides BiggerPockets and not just locally). And if you have a real estate related site or blog, also please reply. Would love to help each other out.

As I work with new investors, I’m wanting to understand more about their mindset, reasoning and goals. For me, the main reasons I wanted to get into investing were . . .

1. Money (family, security, future).

2. Freedom (be my own boss, work from home).

What are the main reasons you want to be an RE Investor?

Reach out to @Lori Greene. She’s the co-owner of the site. Hands down best service for pulling comps I have found yet.

Thanks Caleb! Happy to help anyone who asks.

In my area, Zillow is horribly inaccurate. This is a house we own.

It was last listed for $23,000 and we paid less than that. When we finish fixing it up, we'll be overjoyed if we get $50k, and we've put a lot of work into it.

Get Realtor comps to be sure. They'll be much more accurate.

The non-disclosure states that I know about (who's sold prices are not public record) are Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri (some counties), Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. So Zillow has no sold prices there (and none of the other AVM's do either).
