I didn't mean to talk bad about my tax man he's a super nice guy and does research whenever I ask a question. I guess I'm asking too much for specialized answers.

Natalie Kolodij and believe me I have tried. I can't even come close to affording them. Different league. So I'm stuck with people who have dealt with a house or two here and there.
I'm well organized everything is on google sheets every dollar.

@Natalie Kolodij how do I find an accountant that will talk to me? I'm way too small for The Brandon halls and the Amanda Hans.

@Natalie Kolodij how do I handle this as far as self employment tax? I'd hate to be doing all this extra work on these Vacation rentals as opposed to having a lease only to pay it all back to Uncle Sam.

Lisa Graesser I'm not sure I follow you. How does this pertain to schedule C vs E? I've purchased 4 vacation rentals so far this year.

Brandon Hall My accountant says I need to do schedule E because I don't offer daily services like maid service and breakfast. Now I'm even more confused.
Which leads me back to the ever popular LLC situation. I currently do not have one nor do I understand them. If I'm schedule E do I just get an LLC and put my vacation rentals in that LLC? What the hell is an S corp or a C corp anyway? It's all very confusing.

Lisa Graesser the VR are in the dame area. I have other long term rentals elsewhere.
I figure in the cost to get them ready after we've closed and add it to that property. If you're talking about plates linens furniture etc.

Craig Curelop forgive me for intruding but I think what Brandon Hall is saying is neither one of those scenarios are true.
Also.... if I'm not netting cash why would I bother?
