I have been having this discussion with my parents, who are afraid to put in a claim on a leak they had. They're scared that their insurance company will drop and then blackball them. Can insurance companies do that?

What is a better bet - installing a second bathroom in a 2br condo, or installing a laundry? Would one be more valuable then another?

I don't know about you all, but it seems a bit scary that the supreme court ruled in favor of empowering private companies "for the public good" to have the power of eminant domain. I understand the gov. needing to take over property for the building of roads and infrastructure, but I'm afraid they have gone too far on this one. Today marks another frightening event in the government getting too powerful.
