@Duriel Taylor I hadn't thought of that, I'm going to give it a shot.
@Shanequa J. I forgot to mention in the post that the mailing address is the same as the vacant house, which kind of throws me off.
Thank you for your responses. Only way to go is up!

@Bryan O. Sorry for not replying, but that was exactly what I needed to hear at that point. Since then I've been going out and looking around neighborhoods for For rent signs (frustrated landlords) and looking for houses that are dilapidated for me to get a discounted price. Although nothing has grown to fruition just yet I know if I keep it up and stay on track, I'll get there.
Thank you!

I am having trouble tracking down the owner to a prospective property. I have contacted the assessors office and got a name, plugged that into whitepages, got some numbers but they were disconnected. I was wondering if anyone had any other creative ways of tracking down owners, if this method doesn't work. I am located in the West Hollywood area but the house in question is in Inglewood, close to where the rams stadium will be.
Thanks!

Thank you for the responses, I did also get a mailing address but the mailing address is the same as the vacant home. I will probably post something on the door when I get a chance with hopes that the owner will drive by and see it. @Kyle J.
@Clarence JohnsonI really appreciate that and help is always welcomed. I can always use another person in my corner, thank you.

So essentially there are these dilapidated houses in a neighborhood i know very well. They are both owner-occupied as far as I know. I was wondering what my steps from there would be.
Thank you

I am looking at what a leasing consultant does and that looks to be the route I think I would take.

How would you suggest going about that. What kind of offices have things like RE concierge or leasing consultant.

So I am currently 21 years old you can date my posts all the way back to when i was 18 looking to get into REI. I've learned quite a bit but not nearly enough. I find myself wondering without a path, only a destination. I realized, as I was applying for different security guard positions, that sitting down/walking around for 8+ hours a day could have close to no benefit to my REI career. The original plan was to walk into various mortgage companies, really anything real estate related and ask if they needed any help with their day to day operations. I understand getting my foot in the door is probably the most monumental hurdle I have probably encountered as it is life changing if i succeed. Really all im asking for is some advice on what you think i should do. I have no one I can accurately talk to this about in person because no one I know is a REI, and they say "take advice only from someone you would trade places with." I'm just so tired of wasting time, I know I could live up to any task placed in front of me, its just about finding the person willing to trust me with these tasks.
Thanks for reading and i hope to hear from all of u soon!
