Hi there! I would recommend setting the LLC up in NY if that is where you will exclusively invest. Have the LLC in the state of the properties will allow you to take in state actions such as evictions quicker.

Hi there! I would recommend going with an anonymous LLC name - that provides anonymity for your business dealings and increases the difficulty in someone bringing a lawsuit against you. I would choose a random phrase for the LLC name os something that cant be easily traced back to you.

Hi Rodriga - congrats on getting started in real estate! The bank account will need to be a bi account in the name of your LLC (if you are using one). Depending on how the properties are held, it will dictate how banking should be done. If all properties are in the LLC, the one account is fine. However, I would recommend only holding one property per LLC or using a series LLC.

Hi Marcas - congrats on the new purchase! You shouldnt have any special requirements - your lender can most likely handle the transer for you via quit claim deed during the refinance process.

Hi Neil! It will depend on the county in regards to specifics (Im not familiar with Jefferson county CO) so I would recommend checking with your local county recorder (they will be able to provide the full details on what is needed, how it should be structtured, etc.) Its likely you will need just a deed - the formatting of the deed will have county reqs so you wiill want to check with them. There may also be ancillary docs required such as tax verification forms.
