@Trevor Ewen and @Brett Wehn, what are your thoughts on the timing for REIT ETFs now? Thanks for an update!

Hello investors! I am so excited to announce the speaker for January! I have been putting off asking him to speak because he is a very busy man and limits his speaking events to just a few groups per year--groups with 300+ attendees, unlike this more intimate group of 20-30. You won't want to miss this! Our speaker is Ted Colna, a CPA with Zuckerman and Associates. He specializes in real estate investors and small business owners. Ted is going to talk about everything he possibly can in the two hours we have him. He is going to talk about entities, capital gains, small business practices, what is different in 2018, self-directing retirement accounts, 1031 exchange, how to minimize your tax liability, what you can write off, how to budget for taxes in your first year of business, and so much more! This will be gold to both beginners and seasoned investors. If you already have a CPA, come anyway! If you need a CPA, here is your chance to interview one of the most important members of your team.
Do not miss this meetup!

The next meetup is just around the corner! I will have two or three local investors break down their current deals. One has a flip in Ghent and it is his first deal! He used hard money, private money, and expects a really nice return. Another is new to the market and has secured two deals and partnered on a third. I'll let him pick which deal he wants to break down. I'm working on a third investor, but like many newbies, the "real" job sometimes gets in the way. After we take a deep dive of their deals, we will look at a few deals currently on the market waiting for you to jump on. I challenge you to get your first deal ratified by the end of the year! It is possible and I will be there every step of the way. I have every team member you need, so let's get a deal done! You will walk away with an action plan and maybe even a deal to go after.
See you there!

@Brian Burke, @Yousif Abudra, @Ian Walsh Thank you for your responses. We definitely will be leaning heavily on a mentor/partner for their network. It is surprising how much interest I have gotten just from this forum as well as my sphere. My other partners have a lot of HNW folks intrigued as well. We realize that we will be getting a small cut of the deal, but the learning opportunity is going to be priceless. Thank you for your responses.

@Todd Dexheimer We will definitely be bringing on a mentor/partner and taking a smaller piece. We have quite a bit of interest for money investors, we just need the HNW individual to secure the loan.
