@Kevin Bennett check with your local municipalities and see if they have any type requirements. I'd only replace with sdr, gasketed fittings, withstands higher ground pressure, will out last anything else. I do not suggest you line the pipes, galvanized pipe will start to crush as its rust. Replace it and be done with it

@Allen Lopez and I just won the lottery.

@Allen Lopez nope, this is why I'm not, I only flip. Your landlord sounds more then reasonable, go after the ones who really could care less, not the ones who seem to actually be trying to help, I dont know all the circumstances, the chances of you being able to sue and win after they've assisted you and are clearly trying to make things right are slim.

@Allen Lopez how about you stop looking for a freebie, your land lord is being more then fair with you. Things happen in life, doesnt mean you need to sue someone, especially someone who is trying to help you, they're offering you $1600 plus found you a place. Seriously grow up and move on with your life.

@Phebia Philpot you need to give more specifics, where did this occur? How did the bank allow him to steal 40k ? 40k is fraud and you need to file a police report asap, I suggest hiring an attorney immediately

@Stefan D. Do what needs to be done to get the gas reconnected, you should of gotten estimates and had this cost negotiated in your purchase price. Also mini splits/heat pumps do not put out enough heat if you area receives colder winters which would render them useless and you may end up with frozen pipes.

@Keyshawn Robinson these are questions you should be calling your local municipalities on

@Manmath D. Caulk it paint it and be done with it, drywall on ceilings sag, it's normal to develop cracks as things settle and materials shift. How old is the house ? Back when only nails were used in homes to hang drywall over the years they pull and you develop cracks at the joints.

@Sean H. Still have those books ?
