Two questions 1. Am I able to split the water bill with tenant in the duplex I currently live in ( and own). I recently just understood that your supposed to include all expenses into the tenants rent. I just picks up my first duplex. I’m house hacking. I have inherited tenants that are paying $1500 a month. When I sat down and signed the lease with my tenants we agreed to keep the rent at $1500 but i asked they split the water bill with me. Is this acceptable??

I just bought a duplex in my area, and now that I’m living where i am I’m finding a bunch of multi family’s that look distressed. I know I can go around door knocking to see if the tenants want to give me the landlord info. But is there another way I can look up who the current owner is?

Hey all,

I want to begin looking to buy foreclosures. I’m curious as to what seminars or classes people have found to be very helpful/knowledgeable in regards to buying/selling/long term holding foreclosures. I’ll be picking up a few books on the subject but I would like to get something above and beyond that as well.

What other topics should I be educating myself in that will work hand in hand with foreclosures as well.

Drop me some info please and thank you!!!
