So a house in my neighborhood has been vacant for a few months now. I think it’s been foreclosed.. not entirely sure. So I have two questions one.. how do I confirm this house is foreclosed and 2 if it is how do I position myself to be able to make an offer on this property?

I’m just curious what others are seeing. I just bought a duplex. I want to update one of the units. Both are 2/1’s 800 sqft. From experience what do you typically spend money on the Reno that gets you the best results as far as being able to raise the rents?

Bathroom and kitchen updates, new paint and some new flooring was what I had in mind..

Hey All, closing on my first REI this coming Wednesday here.. duplex in my local area. I was able to snatch it up for $355k with a 5% down FHA! I’m looking for my next deal, needs to be OOS as the prices are pretty steep around here.I really want to scale up, to a small multi family building. Like 6-12 units. Where would YOU buy?!?!

So I’m in the process of closing on my first duplex. I’ll be house hacking, and I’m buying with a tenant in place. The first thing I want to do is set up my lease. How do I set this up, can I have tenants pay all there own utilities separate from the rent or do I include that in one total cost? How should I set it up that makes the most sense, and makes me the most Return. Drop me a line!!
