HI BP Community,

I'm looking to purchase a single family house in Bergenfield NJ and Teaneck NJ but I am unfamiliar with NJ Market.

Which out of these two towns is a better renter town? I believe Teaneck is a huge renter town but I'm uniformed about Bergenfield NJ.

Hi BP Community,

I am finally developing the courage to house hunt but every time I set my eyes on a property (usually posted on Redfin or Zillow) the listing agent already accepted an offer from someone else.

Is there any advice to find properties much quicker (maybe using a different website) or strategic ways to place a bid on a house then having the option to drop your offer once you see it in person?

Thank you in advance.

Do you need to do anything else? Maybe provide more cash as a down payment or something?

Hi BP Community,

Is there a strategic way to obtain a single fam property using a FHA loan then switching that same home into a investment somewhere down the line?

When can you change an owner occupied home into an investment property? 1 Year? 4 Years?

@Alina Trigub Thank you Alina - do you have a link to your Meetups?

Thank you Greg. I'll look into Meetups in the NYC area until I am comfortable taking the next step.

However, can you elaborate on what you mean by "financed deals" and do you have any websites you recommend for analysis?
