@James Walker I grew up in old Dance Halls working with bands and have always loved live music. I don't know as many people as I used too, but I do know a few people that might be able to help you if you're really interested.
I wouldn't with about the distance, because I know that Texas State runs party buses to Austin and San Antonio so I know that you're not too far out of the way.

@Justin Pumpr I'm in the process of hiring additional people, and I just started handling some remodels for another California investor. Let me know what you are looking for, and we can see how we might be able to help each other out.

I see a lot of votes for self storage, but since I live near by, I'd like to see an old school dance hall / live music venue. There is a lot of potential if you could provide multiple types of music.

@Account Closed There are a lot of great resources here in San Antonio and reaching out before you arrive and then attending as many meet ups as possible once you get here is a great path forward. Welcome in advance and please feel free to reach out if I can help either of you with any questions you might have.

@Jesse Lugo Jr I've just hired several people to work for me, and I'm trying to make sure that I can keep them busy while I rebuild my construction business after traveling out of state for the last several years. Feel free to reach out to me and maybe we can see if we can find something beneficial for both of us. I also have a few contacts I'd be willing to share if you prefer to handle the work as your own GC.

@Angel Mancilla You can't go wrong with going to as many meet ups as possible and networking. If you're serious about investing in real estate, there are many ways to get involved as long as you're willing to invest either your time or your money. There are a lot of very knowledgeable and experienced investors in the San Antonio area that are willing to share their knowledge. I'd be happy to meet you or any other investors looking to network for breakfast / coffee or lunch one day to discuss mutual goals.

@Anthony Finger I just posted this same information for another investor. and I thought it fit your current situation as well.
I've recently stopped traveling out of state for work, and I am restarting my construction business to handle my own investments. I know a couple of GC's who handled work for me while I was traveling so I might be able to help point you in the right direction. I'd like to hear more about what type of property and how extensive a remodel you are planning on doing on each property. Some contractors are better suited to lower end properties and rehabs while I prefer extensive projects and a higher tier of renovation than most flippers. Feel free to reach out to see how we might be able to help each other out. We could meet for coffee, breakfast, or lunch one day to further discuss some ideas and plans.

@Adrian Thomas Check out some of the investor meet ups in the area. You can find them on meetup, facebook, and several members here on BP also host a few.

@Ramon Martinez There are so many variables unanswered that there's no way to give you an opinion without knowing some additional information. Just to start...
What is the house worth now? Cost of rehab? Value of the property after repair (ARV)? What are rentals going for in your neighborhood? What neighborhood is the property located?
