Welcome Jennifer.  I've been wholesaling in the Raleigh area since 2006, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.  Podcasts are a great place to start, and just ask questions (of course search the forum for your answers first).  My suggestion would be to get a mentor, preferably someone with a proven track record of finding great off-market deals, it will greatly reduce your learning curve.

Thanks @Account Closed, I am really just curious what others are doing.  I have never purposely reached out to a spouse, but have had a few referral deals come through lately where the spouse was the executor of the estate.  Seems poor taste to me, but if you're going to pursue it I'm sure the timing would be important.

I searched through the forums but couldn't find any real opinions on this. 

I have been marketing to Probates for more than 5 years and I'm curious what others are doing. Of those of you who are also marketing to probates when you see the spouse is the executor or admin of the estate are you still contacting them? And, what's your thinking behind it if you do or not?
