Post: MTR help requested in Wilmington, NC!

Hi Abigail! I live in Virginia, but I have an MTR in Wilmington, and I'm looking at buying one or two more. I would be happy to connect and chat about my experiences! (Feel free to message me separately.) I also have a full time job, which really limits the amount of time I can dedicate to rental properties. I've found so far that managing is do-able on my own, but that's with "only" a 40-hour work week!

@Zeona McIntyre I would love a copy of your furnishing list, if you wouldn't mind sharing! I'll send you a BP message. :-)

@Brian Miller Hi Brian! Did you find an electrician and plumber for you property? I'm working on a flip near there, and I'm looking for good subs. Any recommendations would be super helpful!

I'm also in the market for GC's or subs in the area. I have a flip in Delco.
@Robert Gorra - I've had a similar experience where I've had a really hard time with getting GC's to even give me an estimate, and the few that have have been way overpriced (ie, they want me to put in $20k of cabinets in a budget flip) or have had their prices go up by about 40% and still not give me a firm price when I try to nail down the scope of work. I am also leaning towards GC'ing it myself, so I'm using an architect to draw up plans, and I'm looking for subs. I'd love to chat with you more about the process.

@Jay Hinrichs They seemed to change their system, so that I can't even pick which kind I want now. They will let me customize it "later." I had heard a while back that they were going to stop offering their entry level truck. I wanted the mid level one... that seems to have enough range and towing capacity... but I could possibly be talked into the highest end one. This will be my first Tesla, so I'm not at all familiar with their process, but I guess I'll just figure it out as I go!

I'm looking for recommendations for a good general contractor in Delco, PA -- specifically, a twin in East Lansdowne. It's a pretty big project, but not quite a full gut.
