@Craig Hewitt Yeah that would be great!
I think with the new hospitals being built it will be great for investors. The project is projected to create 17,000 new jobs and all those people need somewhere to live, and they can't all move uptown. So I think there is a lot of potential in some surrounding areas that are less desirable at the moment. At least that's my take.

@Mark Updegraff Thank you Mark! My cafe is actually on Magazine St. It's a cool part of town. I have a few areas in mind, but still trying to do some research. The bywater is defintley a hot spot right now.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris Cook I'm 29 years old from New Orleans and I'm new to bigger pockets. I just finished reading the beginners guide, which I thought was great.
I'm looking to learn the ropes and begin investing in real estate. I currently own a cafe in uptown New Orleans, and looking for new ways to invest. I'm new to the whole real estate investing, but it has been on my mind for quite a few years. I'm really interested in learning the ins and outs to becoming a successful investor.
I'm currently in the works of buying two single family homes that will be used for rentals. Once I have some cash flow coming in, I would like to start looking to do some flips.
I look forward to learning and making some new friends!
