What makes a good real estate investor?

I want to hear from lenders, real estate brokers/agents, Investors, Newbies, Writers, Moms, Dads, I just want the truth! I want stories, I want qualities, tools, teams, strategies, relationships, I want it all. From you, the investor, the successful stories and the not so successful stories.

I have been working real estate now 6 years in the Spokane area and have seen many challenges overcome and Ive also seen the nightmare side of investing.

Give me the dirt on investing.

Thank you all for your responses, maybe I should rephrase my question. I am an experienced REI as well as a REI broker and have many clients all around the country and wanted to see if anyone has had success with listing and renting out air b & b? The podcast I listened to the gentleman was all hyped up and excited about renting others properties out and was making a decent amount of money. It sounds as if this would be more of a headache than anything and purchasing your own property is where it is at.

Good day, I recently listened to the air b & b podcast and wanted to get any feedback on experience anyone has had. It seems extremely challenging to find rental properties and ask the owner to list with you, when you have no guarantee of occupancy. I understand you are taking care of their property, keeping it stocked with food items, toiletries and fresh linens. If you have had personal experience or successful experience, would love to hear. @Brian Olson hello Brian! The Spokane market is doing well at the current market. Single family properties have a good cash flow as well as duplex and triplexes. What is your price point and are you working with a lender?
