BNI is Business Networking International, a networking group where you get to know one another well enough to pass personal referrals. I am a member with one of my other businesses and my renewal is coming up very soon. I should be going full-time in real estate in 2017. At the very least it is both going to surpass income from my other (2) businesses and for ROI on my time it's the most profitable. BNI has been a big help in my other business and BNI is heavily saturated with real estate professionals and other related fields (commercial lenders to landscaping to roofers, etc.) Some of them I'll never use or refer to but others I may. What I would hope to get would be referrals for SFH sellers I may not find otherwise. The 'my uncle needs to sell his house yesterday' sort of referrals. Also referrals for good renters, buyers, etc.
Has anyone joined BNI as an investor? How did it work out for you? The only downside I can see would be that you'd completely lose your anonymity.

Hi Brian,
I'm in Conway and it is a strong seller's market right now. I agree with Paul that the LR REIA is an excellent group. You'll learn everything you need to know about cash flow there. Let me know the next time you're in Conway and we can meet up for lunch to discuss all things investing in the area. I look forward to meeting you!

I know an investor who mails out an eviction notice the 3rd if rent wasn't received by the 1st. They receive it the 4th and I suppose the eviction process begins the 5th. If they notify him in advance, they have a problem and will be late, he will work with them. Otherwise, he's cutthroat. However, he doesn't have many issues with his renters.

Consider driving down to Little Rock once in a while for our monthly CARREIA meeting. It's the second Thursday of every month. www.carreia.com We finish late but the meeting is in a hotel so you could just stay.
