It may be a good idea to rent for a short time until you get a lay of the land and school districts.

I think that is close to downtown Dallas, which makes it a bit of a drive to get to a suburb.  I grew up in Plano and went to schools in Plano ISD. It is a very good school system and there are a lot of people moving to the area because of it.

I agree with you. We will see some decline and then things will go up again. I see it as a good buying opportunity.

I think you need to get your significant other on your side before you do anything.  Nothing will go exactly according to plan.  There will be stress and some problems.  You do not need that to add hurdles in your relationship. We don't know her.  You are the only one that understands her.

I have the same question.  I have no idea what rents will and will not come in for April.  The form says lying on it would be perjury.  I certainly do not want to do that!

Nothing has changed for me on the supply side.  The demand side has changed though since investors are waiting on deals.

Use whatever option gives you the cheapest solution.  Credit unions may be reluctant to loan on an unfinished property, you should check that.

There is nothing "wrong" with it, but I won't put my money on anything I don't see for myself. Other people may not look at things the same way I do and at the end of the day its my money which is going to be at risk.
