Hi all,

I know there is the WNYREI club for investors in Buffalo but I was wondering if anyone has set up a club/meeting place for Bigger Pockets members in the area? I think that would be great if we could all get together and meet each other on top of the WNYREI meetings. If anyone knows or thinks it's a good idea please let me know!

Thanks,

Nate

Darren Sager I have really been considering the Buffalo market but I don't know if the 45 minute drive would be too far, though I do go to school about 20 minutes away. Any help I can get is really appreciated everyone has been great on Bigger Pockets.

Phillip Dwyer Yeah that's what I have been feeling, not being taken seriously and the money situation as well. I have been thinking about interning with a company or bank that deals with real estate since I'm still in college, but I haven't seen one that really does internships with accounting students. But I'll still keep looking around and I'm sure I'll find something.

Thanks for the input Jon, I am only using it for me so I can get a better picture out of what I want to do with real estate, in conjunction with my goals.

I have been trying to connect with real estate agents, lawyers, and other real estate professionals in my area for about a month now without success. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to make these kinds of professionals become interested in helping me get started? I have really come to a roadblock on what I could offer them in return to make it worthwhile for them.

Thanks for any help,

Nate

Hi all,

I have been working on my mission and vision statements, along with my business plan so I can get a clearer picture of what I want to bring to my real estate market. So far mine are short and sweet but maybe a little too non-descriptive.

Vision of my business:

We help families and college students live happier, more fulfilled lives by providing the highest quality, comfortable housing that feels like home.

Mission of my business:

To become the highest quality provider of housing in Fredonia, NY for college students and families alike, while also providing great customer service that makes our customers feel appreciated and valued.

I am really trying to stress the quality aspect and provide great value to renters.

It would be great to hear from others how they have set up their mission and vision statements and how they have implemented them to bring their ideas into reality and any feedback you guys could give me.

Thanks,

Nate

David Niles I thought there were still networking events at local restaurants and bars during the summer?
