@Dawn Anastasi Thanks for replying Dawn. Yes, I have set up keyword alerts for Buffalo and Western New York.

Hi all,

I have been doing some research on the neighborhoods in Buffalo and think I have found three areas to focus on; Allentown, the Medical Park, and Willert Park. I picked these three to look further into because of their proximity to Downtown and the developing areas around Buffalo. Does anyone on BP invest in these areas? If not, where do you invest?

Thanks for any and all input,

Nate

Does anyone know if real estate attorneys, agents, and other professionals attend the local REIA meetings frequently and if some are on Bigger Pockets? I know @David Niles is on here but is he the only one?

I have been looking at some neighborhoods to potentially invest in Buffalo. Could someone tell me how many neighborhoods are actually in Buffalo? I've seen anywhere from 10 to in the 100's. Would those just be submarkets within submarkets?

Does anybody know of anyone else that would like to set a meet up? The more the merrier.

@David Niles thank you. Do you think that once interest rates start to rise more the market will cool off or is the mass redevelopment of Buffalo to keep on the housing market up or at least stable?

@Darren Sager Wow! I didn't think it was up that much. Could you tell me how you got that image? Is that something only agents can access?

I have been doing preliminary research on the Buffalo market as a whole and have run across the multitude of articles proclaiming how great real estate is doing in Buffalo. I was wondering if local investors are seeing this uptick in the trenches or if the papers are blowing this out of proportion? Any insight you guys could give would really go along way for me to understand what's going on in the area. Thanks for any input.
