I would go for Leander, I have been selling a lot of investment props there and rentals are taking a week or so to lease out. Plus with all the new commercial investments coming into the area it will just drive more growth.

@mohammadkhan If you are concerned about it you can get a foundation inspection done by a structural engineer for peace of mind.

The highest I have seen in Austin is $3k for a rush appraisal :|

A study released August 24 by personal finance website WalletHub ranks Austin among the 10 most attractive real estate markets in the U.S. 

To determine the most attractive real estate markets, WalletHub compared 300 cities across 18 key metrics. The data ranges from appreciation of median home price to job growth.

With an overall rank of No. 2 on WalletHub’s Best Places to Buy a House list, Austin also lands in the No. 1 spot in terms of large cities with hot real estate markets.

Apple’s purchase of Capital Ridge would be one of the most significant deals of 2021, as it demonstrates the company's confidence in the appreciation of the Austin real estate market. Unlike many of the Silicon Valley behemoths leasing space in Central Texas, Apple owns significant real estate in Austin. That includes its Americas Operations Center on Parmer Lane and the forthcoming $1 billion campus its building a little farther north.

yes that would be exciting, i think the city can support a major team like that :)
