Yes, you can. You need to research tax deductions for  home office use. Good luck.

Post: Should I become a realtor? Tips? Suggestions?

@Chris Pierog, great questions to ask.  I will give my opinion.  I just got my realtor license because I want to start investing in real estate. After reading and listening to blogs, I felt that it wouldn't hurt me.  It will help me to set my goals, meet new people and try to connect more.  I felt as though I was constantly asking my realtor "friend" question after question, so I did it!  I have just purchased a fixer-upper prior to getting my license though. Whew, lots of work.  I figure just do it, so I did. What a learning curve! I have been spending too much time on the house project, unfortunately.  I'm working a full-time w-2 job and working on the client list in my spare time, or lack of.  Good luck to you! Please keep us posted!

@Anthony Vargas, welcome to Bigger Pockets. Good luck to you!

@Sohrab Ansari, you have learned already but an expensive one.  Let us know how this new venture turns out!

Well, @Sohrab Ansari, I cannot believe that a property of that age needs to repairs.  When was the property renovated and updated?  I think maintenance figures are low. That's great for insurance. And do you know and trust property management people?  And shouldn't they be handling grass, etc?

Post: Help!! what is keeping me from NOT doing this. :((((

@Sohrab Ansari-RELAX! Money is not an obstacle for you, but time is.  You interview realtors and let THEM work for you.  Then while you are growing your income at the 9-5, they will find something for you.  Don't be so hard on yourself!  We are our own worst enemy.  Do it!
