@Dev Horn I like your analogy, it is certainly easier to see it that way, I am building my buyers list and in the meantime I will make sure to work on my motivated sellers, making sure I catch the big fat fish !

Thanks for your input.

This i feel might be a matter of opinion, but it is something that I'm trying to see what your opinions are. While building a buyers list and calling bandit signs to cultivate a healthy list, should i already be marketing for potential sellers? or should i wait till i developed my list so i can market to specific areas?

My first time calling a seller wasn’t exactly what I expected, I was nervous and I wasn’t’ sure and 100% informed on certain things. The seller ended up hanging up on me and I was left with no opportunity. And so my questions is when you are calling sellers what are the most common objections or rejection answers from potential sellers? What is the best way to address each of these common objections? I need guidance in this matter BP community !

Hello All BiggerPockets Members ! My name is Ray and I am new to the Real Estate Investing and Wholesaling. I have a few questions and hope to find the right answers here. In order of importance is it more important to have a motivated seller list or an investor/buyer to sell the properties to. How do I actually start with my first deal. Should I attract leads with yellow cards and wait for a call, or go and look for abandoned properties and try to find the owner of the property. How do I find a contact list of motivated sellers ? Who should I utilize to give me this information ?
