Right now prices are going down. Cost to build can be as low as $175 a sq ft but generally around $200

The market is cooling down so keep your eye out. Also like mentioned maybe look into an Property with or can have an ADU built on it!

I’m local and a Licensed Contractor and never understood why so many don’t invest in building ADUs. Great way to produce income! I’m planning to have Generic plans with affordable pricing to offer clients soon

Hey everyone,

I do a lot of residential real estate investing but have no experience in commercial real estate. I really want to buy a property in downtown Raleigh,NC that has 2-3 stories. I’d like to make the upstairs an awesome Airbnb and the lower unit into a restaurant or flex office space.

Has anyone here done something like this? Any advice?
