Not knowing your income level,I think you should consultant your accountant on the best way to do this. I know you want to saave money but by going to a good accountant he will pay for himself.

Paul

First of all i would consult with an attorney. I think is doable with the assignment of the contract each time. Assigning his interest to you and then you assiging you interest to someone else. Although stating to get messy. Attorney ??????????????? It,s worth the call, what are they going to say NO-o,well

Check his records for past rental history. Maybe his taxes to see if he is stringing you along.

Hi everyone. 35 years in the construction business-15 years in architectural woodwork installations as an owner/installer. Over the years i have built(on the side) homes ,apartment building and have remolded both residental and small commercial projests. I am now in the process of trying to find property to purchase down in San Antonio,Tx. Will semi-retire in about 3 years but hope to buy some rehab to have something to do. I am glad to be on board,it looks like the place to be.Now living in cold wet Dekalb,IL-Go Huskies

You may want to get and ernest money check so you know that you are not wasting your time with this buyer. With an ernest money check your buyer is a little less likely to run on you. Have your attorney escrow the money if that is how you do things in your state.

I am also looking for acerage to build a personal residence with out building. I am looking for something to do in semi-retirement or i will go crazy.
