@Jared K.
Sounds good. We'll just be hanging out, low key. Stop by whenever. I'll update our table location and everything, at that time, in the event thread.
See you there.

Hey KC,
After some discussion on the forums, @Chris Wendel and myself have decided a lively discussion on Kansas City Multi-Family might be made even more enjoyable with some drinks and a patio added into the mix.
With a "the more the merrier" approach, anyone who is interested in casually discussing KC real estate is welcome to join.
There's no pressure, angle, or agenda. Simply hanging out and talking REI.
Those just getting interested, to those with years under their belt, and all the in-between are welcome.
We'll be there 8PM to ?
Hope to see you there.

@Jake Cohen
KC local/investor here. I completely agree with @Todd Dexheimer
I wrote up a brief summary my 2 cents on the KC area. I have shared it on a few other discussions here and others have found it helpful. You can find it here:
https://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/9877/62959-new... I'd be happy to talk KC sometime over a skype or hangouts session. No angle for me here, just passionate about my city and being helpful. aka you're stereotypical Midwesterner
Best,

Welcome, Chris.
Indeed, MFH is on everyone's mind.
I'd suggest starting by identifying your target neighborhoods, if you haven't already.
(I wrote a blurb about my thoughts on this
https://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/9877/62959-new... )
It has also helped me a lot to know how to calculate numbers on the fly.
Allows me to quickly analyze anything that comes across my desk, so to speak.
If it passes the initial numbers, it gets a more detailed looking into.
Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime to talk shop and KC.
Best,

I'll have to agree with Jon that Joe's and Q39 are king. Though I would put Joe's KC at the top.
Go to the original location (3002 West 47th Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66103) the Z-man is always recommended, but honestly...get anything, it's all delicious.
I'll be busy prepping for a trip that starts this weekend. That said, if you don't end up getting much response, myself and an investor friend may have time for a beer between packing.
