Hey Eric. I'm also someone who just started with Real Estate investing here in Omaha, NE! I'm also looking for the same things as well.

@Mack Benson Thanks for the wonderful advice Mack! I will be sure to network at my next REI meeting and ask about trustworthy good wholesalers. I will ask for recommendations from local flippers as well.

What is the best advice to find trustworthy wholesalers in my local area?

@Josh Caldwell Thanks for the great response Josh! You are absolutely right and thankfully I was able to form a partnership with someone who will be providing the money side of our deals like a bridge loan. I am also meeting at my local REIA to network and connect with as many real estate professionals as I can. In addition, I'm currently working with multiple agents to bring me houses so I can start practicing running numbers and getting better at determining what's a great deal and what's not. Thanks for your help I will be sure to update on my progress!

@Brian G. Thanks for the excellent response Brian. You are absolutely right I believe working with a mentor is the key to getting started to avoid mistakes and to get me rolling on the best strategies. I do believe I am hungry, teachable, and have hustle due to my passion for real estate! I will be attending all REIA meetings in my local area looking to work and connect with as many real estate professionals as possible. I also will be starting a remodeling and maintenance job this week to get better understanding of the rehab process. Thanks for your help!

@Joe Aiola Thanks for the awesome advice Joe! I understand where you are coming from and that is probably the safest route to take with my current situation. But I believe I am ready now to tackle a flip. My dad and uncle have been contractors for 20+ years so I have a huge understanding in that field and they can also provide me with lots of contractors and handymen. I am also working with a partner who will be providing the money side of our partnership so that is a huge plus! Also I have been working with multiple agents in my area looking at houses and have been reading multiple BP books on investing strategies. So I think I am ready to pull the trigger!

@Odie Ayaga you're definitely right. Thankfully, I am now working with an experienced partner who will be providing the money side of our partnership!

Hey everyone. I'm 20 years old and I want to start house hacking but I lack the capital for down payments and renovations. Therefore, I want to do a fix and flip for my first deal to acquire capital for my house hack. But then again, I am stuck finding out how I am going to fund the deal with no money involved. Any tips or advice for my current situation?
