Hey everyone,

I am brand new to the BP site but I've been listening to BP podcasts, reading books, and doing research for awhile now. A little background: I am currently attending the University of Nebraska Omaha getting my bachelors degree in business. I grew up in Omaha and looking to flip, BRRRR, and house hack in the area.

I am reaching out because I want to get some field experience before I start building my portfolio. My dad and uncle are physical-labor contractors and although I've learned a lot of trade-skills from him, I lack exposure to the financial nuances of buying and selling property.

I'm looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge of the home buying/selling process. I think any experience that I can earn now will pay off once I decide to start looking at properties of my own. Whether that means developing a relationship with a local investor, performing analysis, or doing side-gigs. I can provide value with my strong background in math, construction knowledge, and high work drive.

If anyone has tips on what helped them make forward-progress as a young investor or ways to gain exposure to the field, please share.

Thanks!

Hello BiggerPockets family! I am excited to start my real estate journey with BiggerPockets! I plan on networking, educating, and find potential opportunities through here. My real estate strategy is targeting fix and flips, BRRRR, and house hacking.

I am looking to work with eager real estate investing partners, new and experienced agents, money partners, property managers, and contractors in the Omaha metro area. I am focusing on fix and flips, buy and holds (BRRRR), and house hacking in South/North Omaha, council bluffs, and any upcoming neighborhoods with potential. I am currently already working with an agent looking to start investing as soon as possible. The best way to contact me is (402)718-6573 or through email [email protected]. If interested or if you know anyone who might be interested have them give me a text or call and I will reply!
