@Cathy G. I would start talking to who ever is going to manage the property for you. I am sure they will have some great insight for you and possible suggestions.

@Cathy G. The tenant is the one that is awarded the section 8 voucher and they will seek you out if you have a rental property that they are interested in. I hope that helps if not my apologies if I misunderstood the question.

@Kathryne Omaits ok maybe I am reading this wrong but isn’t the agent o my asking for 4% and a broker fee of $250 and your ok with this correct? I guess I am not understanding what is it you don’t want to pay? The broker fee? 6%?

@Frank Robinson yes we have done that before but there are things we want you to experience that you can’t do through video. This was created as a action step. Get out and view properties.

What is a Property Krawl you ask? It's when you get together and view several properties. Why do we do this? My friend Jeremy and I wanted to find a way to help our fellow Real Estate Investors transition from a student and becoming a practitioner. Experience first-hand walking through properties with other like-minded Investors. Sharing ideas and experiences. Getting access to properties and beginning to understand some of the process first hand. Another thing we address is repairs. Most of the time what you're looking at may require various repair that maybe you're not conformable with or have any idea of cost and or time. We will add other professionals and continue to add value to the group. We plan on meeting at least once a month on a Saturday morning for breakfast at 8 am. We will try to at least have 4 properties to view. Some of these will be single-family and multi-units. We will also try to get properties that are not listed on the MLS. We are doing this in Kalamazoo MI and surrounding areas.
