@Stephen Patton, welcome to the forums! If you are looking for proper guidance from someone that has house hacked quite a few times and has the knowledge and experience to help get you going in the right direction, I recommend reaching out to @Josh Green. He is our local expert realtor and real estate investor!

If you close with a conventional loan, it will need to be in your personal name. Fannie mae allows you to transfer your loan into an LLC, but it is recommended that you speak to your loan servicer and ask that if they themselves will allow you to do so. If you would like to avoid that process, then you can either close with a portfolio loan or DSCR, and just vest title in your LLC from the beginning @Lau Cor

@Trevor McCormick I would say that it is an okay market but is very saturated and alot of investors are having a tough time right now. Especially if you are hiring property management. Not to say you cannot do well, but it’ll take some extra TLC. @Shawn McCormick is local to the area and can share some of his experiences.

A little bit off to the west is also a solid market where you can find some success in the Tampa Bay Area. @Josh Green is the local expert there.

@Renato Fruggiero what is your interest in the market with regard to investing? To build new construction?
