I'm planning on being there. I work 7am to 3:30pm in Dallas so I have to figure out what to do between 3:30pm and the meeting start time (without driving all the way back to Frisco) but I will figure it out I suppose. Maybe The Flying Saucer ... I am working on my 2nd plate.

Welcome to the club! I'm relatively new as well and having been there, I would advise you of a few things:

- KEYWORD ALERTS. Go to your ACCOUNT page (upper right corner), then on the left hand side click on FORUMS and then click on KEYWORD ALERTS. You can set up an alert on words that you want to know about. Maybe set something up for wholesale and see what is out there. (that might generate too much volume though) Play around with keyword alerts, they are cool. Use the search functionality of the forums as well.

- IGNORE THE NEGATIVE. I've found the guru bashing a little too much. Also, I feel wholesalers get a bad rap because "new people think it is too easy" so I get to listen to a lot of people complaining about it and lumping me as a n00b into the same group. Unless you have the time to read and consume every post, just use your time wisely and skip over the bashing if you can. Don't get caught up defending anything.

- PODCAST - check out the BP podcast. Great content overall. I would start at #1 and listen to the present.

- NETWORK, find your local REIA or BP meet ups and attend.

Good luck!

(when using BP iOS app) No dates or ability to see when something was posted sometimes generates confusion for me. Perhaps it is there and I just don't know how to find it.

/quickly takes notes. Are all of these open to walk-ins or is there something we would need to do ahead of time?

Derek T. why the high rate of investors/RE agents in your list results? Is that common when looking obtaining absentee owners? I guess that makes sense to some degree.
@? Brandon Turner Since someone else mentioned it, this functionality didn't work for me using the iPhone app on iOS7. Does work in the usual way of @ and then typing the name.

Welcome to BP from Frisco - I've only been here a week or two but loving the content. Make sure to check out the BP podcast, they are awesome. I love Sean's stuff too but BP is just a little more substance and less rah rah motivation. (which totally has its place as well)

Wow, impressive background. I'm new to BP as well ... I feel so inadequate in comparison. LOL Looking forward to hearing more and how things pan out for you.

Sean D I've been wondering about bandit signs and having others place them, so nice to see your question. This may be a silly question but do you pay them to pick them up as well? Do people typically pick them up or leave them until they get trashed?
