I agree with UpstartAgent.
Google loves Wordpress. Most wordpress templates are SEO friendly. And if you add the top plugins to your wordpress blog, you'll be way ahead of the game.
My own site is run on wordpress and by using it along with the plugins, I've been able to achieve great results on Google. Most of my posts are either on the first page of Google or first on Google.
I actually have #1 listings out of several millions of results. Why?
Besides the SEO part and good marketing, wordpress plays a big part.
Let me know if you I can help.

I'll go with hostgator. You can also look into companies like hostmonster.com or mediatemple.net.
One thing you need to consider before transferring your domain is the following:
What do you need to accomplish with the new hosting company?
Cpanel? bandwith? is it windows on linux hosting? and so on...
One thing that jumped out at me is how are you able to take up 500GB of space? When it comes to website design, unless you have a lot of video/audio/multimedia on your site, you shouldn't really be able to use up that much space.
I think you need to look into how much bandwith they allow you to use on monthly basis. Also, what's their uptime? if it's anything below 98%-99% I wouldn't take them. It doesn't matter how good of a deal you het on your hosting if nobody can see it.
And since you are transferring site to another hosting company, ask if they'll help you transfer the site and how it is to do it on their servers.
hope this helps,
Peter
Post: How to Promote a Real Estate Tool

How are you benefiting from that tool?
The reason why I ask is if you gain some monetary benefits from it, you could contact website owner/webmasters and offer to split profits with them to put your tool on their site.
You can also submit your tool to many software download sites. For instance, did you try submitting it to Cnet download area?
Also, do a search on google for software download/ freeware sites and submit it there.
I hope this helps.

The installation on your web server does require some web savvy, and if you'd like to tweak the design so that you don't look like every other person using the same free theme, you're certainly going to have to know how to read php and make changes (or hire someone to do it).
Wordpress is an incredibly powerful platform, and I'm glad I choose it, but the claim that you don't need to know any html or php at all is a bit ridiculous. Some hosts supposedly have one click installs, but I can tell you from experience that Yahoo's does not work. On that note, if you are looking for a host for your site, while Yahoo is certainly reliable, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. As soon as my 3 month contract is up, I'm moving my site to Blue Host.
With all that being said, the good news is that WP is incredibly popular, and any problem you may be having with it can almost always be solved with a Google search.
Wordpress installation is very simple and easy to do. They even lead you through the steps. Adding a theme to your blog is simple as well. All you do is upload the theme to your blog's designated folder and then set it as your current theme.
Now if you want to customize it, that's a different story. The platform incorporates php and such so customizing it can take some work. But if you want to do that, you can get that outsourced.

That and you can customize, add advertisements, etc.
Great point Joshua. I forgot to mention that. The reason why i mentioned wordpress is because by using that platform, people can use their own domain and start branding themselves.

I know I will. Biggerpockets is a great social networking site for real estate investors.
In regards to your question about being online for years to crack the code?
Partially I think. The reason for this is because at the beginning I was very unfocused and was trying different stuff.
When I finally cracked the code, I knew that internet has TON of opportunities but the FOCUS, determination and passion has to be there. So, that's where I am at right now and that's what I LOVE to do.
Why real estate? I always loved real estate. My college degree is in architecture so, real estate is in my blood. :)
And I strongly believe that without successful and systematized marketing, businesses will have extremely hard time growing in today's world.
So that's why I do what I do and love helping people getting their businesses growing.
Thanks Dick. This is a great conversation.

It's a long story. I've been doing online marketing for years but I cracked the code about a year ago and the business picked up very nicely :)
I am very passionate about real estate, marketing, and the internet. So I decided to put them all together to create my business model. So far, it has been working great.
And considering that over 70% of people go online to research real estate before ever going out into the "physical world", it's a no-brainer for me.
Thanks Dick,

Post: How to Find Motivated Sellers, Investors for Flipping

Here are few strategies you can use to find motivated sellers, real estate investors who you can flip your wholesale properties to or fund private money.
One common theme to all of the strategies is to provide great content and educate your target audience on how they can solve their problems. So, if you are looking for motivated sellers, figure out what their core problem. Once you do that, give them solutions to their problems.
Now that you have the solution, you can either write articles, create videos, use social media, join forums and groups where these people hang out at, or write press releases talking about the solutions.
if you write articles, post them on biggerpockets.com and/or ezinearticles.com. Give a call to action in your bio/resource box. Then capture their name and email on your site through a landing page and/or lead generation form.
One important thing you need to remember when using articles and video for your marketing. Make sure that your article's body and title are keyword optimized. Your video is optimized for keywords as well by putting keywords in the keywords space that is given to you in video sharing sites.
Otherwise, you'll have a hard time getting high rankings in google.
Let me know what you think.

Sure, no problem. I'll move the topics I mentioned here to another forum.
I guess I was just eager to answer some of their questions without thinking about the purpose of this forum :)
