Justin Riapos welcome !! I would love to know how your first flip goes, should you decide to go that route. I am moving out there for a job early next year and my goal is to do at least two flips a year while I'm there. Let's keep in touch and grab a coffee when I get out there.
We just moved into a place yesterday. But we did stay in an airbnb and I def did the research on that and I saw houses going for 1000 dollars a night on there in Annapolis ! So I think you got a solid plan there.

Hi Giselle Bellanca-Reuveni ! I would suggest completing your profile on here and posting a picture of yourself first. This way any potential mentors can see who they are talking to and learn a little more about your goals and what you do now :) Then I would just start asking experienced investors what you can do for them. Try to provide value in some way without asking for anything in return. You prove that you are willing to work hard for them unconditionally and I'm sure you will eventually find what you are looking for ! I live in Oregon but am in southern Maryland for work till Jan. If you want to meet up and talk more, I always love meeting new people ! Good luck and have fun !!
Kerri Gee I'm still new at this but I agree with Randy Johnston. The first thing I would do is get that GOOD property manager in there to get that current tenant out. I am assuming she owns that rental free and clear so a manager is a small price to pay to ensure she gets that cash flow every month. I'm sure Randy has some good referrals for you:) good luck !

Hi Enna! Welcome to BP :) I am also a newbie and loving every minute of it! My advice to you is to first go complete your profile on here and add a recent photo too. That way people have an idea of who you are and what your goals are :) Then I would get out there and network ! Download the meetup app if you havn't yet. There's a lot of great meetups in this area on there :) I'm leaving town for work for a while but when I get back I'm always up for coffee! Good luck !!

Post: Should I finish my college degree?

I would lean towards finishing your degree. I agree with Amy Beth , find a school with low debt because these days it's not so much about what school you went to ( unless your trying to become something like a doctor or lawyer) but more about having the discipline to finish what you started. I went to University of Phoenix, which is primarily known for being an online school and not exactly a school people are rocking sweatshirts or hats of. I still landed W-2 jobs where my colleagues went to schools like Standford and Purdue. Me personally, if I was half way there and had already spent so much money on it, then not finishing would always be at the back of my mind bugging me. Finishing my degree also gave me more self confidence in general. I wouldn't change anything if I had to do it over! Maybe just do what Arianne L. Says and try RE full time in the summer and see how you feel first without completely giving up the notion of finishing:) The good news is you are young and already on BP, that is huge ! Have fun !!
I will be working in Annapolis for the next 6 months and will be looking for a place for myself and a coworker to rent while we are there. I know this is probably a shot in the dark but I'd love to work out a creative deal where I can save some money on rent. Maybe by being a temporary resident manager or a cohost for someone's airbnb property. If not, maybe just a suggestion of a nice two bedroom apartment that does short term rentals :) thanks everyone !
Ariel Vincent awesome ! I am going to list it then , thank you !
Hey everyone, I have some vacation credits for Worldmark by Wyndham that I need to use by the end of this year or they expire. Has anyone had any experience with leveraging their vacation credits as a rental ? Does Airbnb allow this ?
