I can help you by answering some of your questions. Good Luck with your new venture!

@Darvin Florian-1. Yes you should register the business as an LLC. 2. As a hard money lender we want our clients to close under an LLC. Also is it hard to get a hard money loan not really. We really look to see if the deal makes sense. We look at the property and what you want to do with it. We also look at the individuals in the LLC. We dont charge points in our deals. If you have any other hard money question please feel free to reach out.

@Manuel Angeles When we work with brokers we have them assign points to the deal. We dont charge points as a lender so the points are usually for the broker.

@Ben M. Hello Ben! I think depending on how your deal is structured. Many HML require atleast 6 months if you have a 12 month loan but if you know you will be paying it off early there are programs that dont have any prepayment penalties.

Thanks for the summary. Question: What advice would you offer someone looking to buy their first investment property should they flip or hold?  Thank You!

@Michael Chadinha Have you thought about a hard money lender? You can close within 7-10 days.

I think you establish a good job you love and then from there start working on your real estate goals. Its important to have a source of funding to make these goals happen quicker. GoodLuck!
