@David Bateman - I am intrigued about exp realty but am wondering how that works - since I have all the rules fresh in my mind :) ...I remember that under Florida rules a sales associate or broker associate may not have an independent office of his own, must register under the broker, and can only work at the broker's office- which "shall consist of at least one enclosed room in a building of stationary construction." [475.22 F.S.]  Seems incompatible with cloud brokerage!

The benefit of the DSLR is the control you get in your shooting.  I shoot everything in raw format and use bracketing and basic HDR to get the desired results in interior spaces.  You do need a good video editor.  Adobe Photoshop is great and I use it often, but I also find myself doing most of the editing I need in Lightroom.  You can get both programs at a reasonable subscription rate (I think $10/month) through the Adobe Creative Cloud.

I just passed my FL lic. exam yesterday and took an online course for the pre-license requirement.  I was told by many not to do it online but I think it really depends on how you prefer learning.  In my case I do much better when working on my own at times when I can concentrate in learning.  I had no problems whatsoever doing it online and finished the course in less than a month.  BTW, as soon as you apply to the DBPR for a real estate license and get approved to take the exam you will start getting calls and letters from brokers wanting you to join them.  My phone did not stop ringing for 2 weeks!  I am still deciding on who to hang my license with...

I just passed the Florida sales associate license exam yesterday.  Now I need to join a broker.  Would like to find a brokerage that focuses on RE investments.  Any advise on how to go about it?  I live in Melbourne, FL.
