To Bryan's point, the AZ market that I invest in is picking up quite a bit faster than my Midwest location. I would imagine that all warmer climates will pick up faster than up here in the cold and snow. Just a fact of life. But it does show positive signs of growth.

this is very interesting. I invest West of you. I had about a 4 month slow period...where I couldnt find a good REO. Now I have one that I'm rehabbing, one under contract, and just offered on a 48 unit complex. Things have certainly picked up lately. Not sure if the banks are holding their inventory or not...but I was thinking it would pick back up in Jan. This has happened a lot sooner

Welcome, Rod. I'm familiar with your area, it appears to be customary to have a lawyer out there. Not saying you have to, but in most transactions I've been involved with in IL, lawyers have been present.

Bipartisanship caused the crony capitalism we have today. That is a serious problem. The uneducated middle of the road know-it-alls will be the downfall of this country.

Another serious problem is the continued personal attacks by closet liberals. Then again, nothing less is expected.

That's not what is going on here. The OP pointed out a problem with the current TSA screening process. Others then come on here and request the OP defend himself against TSA practices that happened 5 years ago. That is simply not logical, especially because some on here have a very difficult time admitting their political saviors are as bad, if not worse than previous administrations. It's a 3rd grade tactic, at best.

What's stupid, Vikram, is the constant Bush comparisons being made. Someone disagrees with what the current regime does, and then there's three pages of how Bush did the same thing and somehow everyone should take the time to denounce the Bush regime. We probably all agree that Bush was not good for much. It's been said many times here. Unfortunately many residents on this forum have the inability to disagree and come out against the CURRENT regime. As far as I can tell, most of the original posts in these threads have to do with CURRENT event. Maybe some of the people here should start threads on the Bush years. That would be very entertaining.

Tom, that was completely uncalled for. I would like for you to provide your stance on all social issues in 1973, 1974, 1978-1981, 1983, 1987, and 1993. Also, you must provide evidence of your stances, because this site was not around and therefore I cannot obtain any facts. Were you outraged when the VW Beetle was discontinued? In direct correlation, why aren't you outraged now that the Play Station 2 game counsol will be obsolete? I demand answers.
