Welcome to Bigger pockets!! I am in the same place you are. I recently read the book rich dad poor dad, and it changed my life. I have my home/liability for sale and trading it for some assets/cash flow!

Thank you AAron, Dave, Obi, Orlando and Michael. I feel that buy and holds are a great way to acquire passive cash flow. I know it can be a headache and work, however I feel the benefits are worth it. I would love to flip to make some money to buy rentals. I have a little money, and trying to start right, to build big. I'm reading and learning a lot. I own my own home which I am selling to get this started full throddle. I want to get out of the rat race. I have learned so much from rich dad poor dad. Your home is a liability and not an asset!

how do you make money with these tax lien properties?
look up the county property appraiser site on line. Look up address and it will show you the name of the owner.
I own a town home. I purchased brand new 7/2015. Then a year later I read rich dad poor dad, and then started reading more and more. Attended a class and had an epiphany. My home is now up for sale by owner through flat fee MLS. I realized it is a liability and not an asset. Going to sell and start investing, wholesaling, flipping, holding, renting.
I have to start at the beginning though and build up.
so buy and holds are a good way to build " real wealth"? That's what I really want to do. One day I would love to own a mini storage business.
