I would like to buy and hold and just rent out. I got pre approved for 15% DP with a company. I would like to invest in northern Texas, In the city of Wichita Falls. Should I wait till I have more capital or is this a good number to start off ? Should I consider a joint venture?

Joe Villeneuve yes sir. I would want to invest in the area because the military installation and there are some schools in there area also the municipal airport is there right by the base. With the Guaranteed BAH military members get and the constant number of people coming in, I believe it is good for the demand of rental properties. It's easier for me to start off in Texas due to the prices being cheaper than where I'm from. I couldn't really afford a house in LA unless I use my VA loan for owner occupied only. But for the 20% DP for investment properties will take some time to save up. So if the numbers make sense and my COC ROI is there I'm ready to pull the trigger!

Joe Villeneuve I agree thank you and I'll be stationed at the AFB up there, I'll live in dorms and will have no expenses. I just want to start buying investment properties little by little. Let's say I have a partner what's the easiest agreement so we both get paid ?

Eduardo Lopez I'm from LA. I'm looking to get a rental property a SFR. The city of Wichita Falls is where I'll be at. I talked to a realtor over there there aren't many duplexes or MFR.
