@Ryan Riches That's not on the table at this point (owner occupancy) - they are considering density restrictions and were supposed to take that up this month but it's been indefinitely delayed after the last town hall.  Not saying they won't change the rules on all of us at some point but for now we are allowed to continue exercising our private property rights!

@Eric Peters that is awesome! Good luck! 😊 My husband and I plan to buy a home there in the next few years - can’t wait! We plan to keep our personal residence and investment properties here in Colorado Springs and enjoy both the beach and the mountains!

@Ken Latchers So true - always have an exit strategy and back up plan! We just got permits for all three units of our CS Triplex. I’ve been shocked at the fast about-face of our council members due to a very small minority opposition! But I’ve always had a back up plan for this particular property.

@Casey Waters my brothers and I did this with 800 acres we had in Kansas. Totally doable. Talk to a local banker where the land is located.

@Bruce C. Have you looked into Medishare or one of the other cost sharing groups? We used it when my husband was between jobs and it was very affordable.
