Randy F. I just had a crew scrape a popcorn ceiling to remove the high spots and then floated it in one coat. It took them (3 guys) about 3 hours to do it (288 square feet). They floated it so well that it didn't require much sanding at all.

Maybe You just aren't that good.

Samantha M., I think you are supposed to pigtail wherever the aluminum makes a connection. So all outlets, switches, fans etc.

Did you have an inspection done on this property? It's actually possible that this switch has already been pigtailed. Look back into the box and check your wires there. That will tell you for sure if you have aluminum or copper.

Concerning college, there are four categories that everyone falls in to:
1.) Attended college and regret it.
2.) Attended college and are satisfied.
3.) Did not attend college and regret it.
4.) Did not attend college and are satisfied.

Only YOU will determine which category you fall in to.

Jon is spot on, there will be disagreements and you must have an efficient way to handle them quickly.

Whatever you do, do not assign each of you titles like Executive, Judicial and Legislative duties. You will go way over budget, never get anything done and then China, I mean the bank will foreclose on you.

My sole property is 100% functional but if it wasn't I would definitely tell them those issues.

They are probably going to call you shortly and tell you about them and expect you to fix them.

I think it depends on the existing valve and supply lines. For an experienced plumber it may be possible, but as Rob said, you will probably have some wall damage.

I just renovated my master bath at my primary residence and put in a new shower valve, ripped out the old two handle style. If you end up having them tear part of the wall out, have them raise the shower head too.

Ryan Outon as far as other methods to make money, there are plenty. As someone already said, real estate is not "quick and easy". Any time I hear the words easy or fast or quick I run the other way.

Ask yourself this question and you will know whether real estate investing is for you.

Are you only interested in real estate because you think you can make quick and easy money? The truth is, it is going to take sacrifice, work and investing your own hard earned money if you want to be successful in RE investing. In my opinion anyways.

Ryan Outon if you think this is your best method to make money in real estate, then don't let me stop you.

I think you should go find an experienced real estate agent in your area and sit down with them and talk about this.

I don't see anything wrong with making money. But your primary strategy seems flawed. Here is an example.

I need to sell my house. I think it's worth $200,000. You tell me that it's not worth $200,000, that its worth $175,000. Then 2 minutes later you tell me that if you sell it for more than $175,000 you get to keep the profit. This is when I tell you to get out of my house.

What happens when you devalue the sellers house, telling them its only worth $175,000, and then you sell it for the $200,000 that they thought it was worth? I think if you could actually persuade somebody into this type of deal, it would be dishonest and you might even find a lawsuit on your hands.

Ryan Outon, I happen to live about 25 minutes from Ft. Hood, Texas, the largest military installation in the free-world, as it's dubbed. I've seen families move in and out of the area my entire life. If it was as easy as your internet guru says it is, I'd be a rich guy.

That tim taylor doesn't make money in real estate. He makes money by pretending that he makes money in real estate.

Go find a buyer who is willing to just lose $60,000 in equity. While you're at it, tell them you'll buy their cars from them for much less than they are worth too.

Oh and forget real estate, you are already in the RV market. The next time someone wants to sell their RV, just try and pull this tim taylor scam.
