What is a good rental property insurance? I got a quote for AEGIS General Insurance Agency, does anyone have any input on that company? The home is under an LLC however it is not currently being rented out, my grandfather lives there.

Not investment related but hoping you could offer some tips. My mom bought some land and is debating whether to purchase a mobile home or build ground up. She was already pre approved for a home loan but the lender in the end wasn’t able to offer a construction loan. I would really prefer to build, does anyone have any recommendations of lenders that do construction loans in Texas? It would be her primary residence. We are already in contact with a reputable gc we are just missing the funding.

@Genevieve Hernandez there’s one in a couple of weeks or days I’m not sure. The rei this month is being hosted by Chad Dougherty :) he’s also hosting another one in May I’m going to that one can’t make this month’s but it should be fun! The wholesalers and overall real estate investors in el paso are very friendly and really cool 😊

I went to an estate sale over the weekend and the owner wants to sell the house because theyre having mortgage issues. Does anyone know how it would work? If there’s still a mortgage how does the process go? Is it an assignment of contract? The house could be a quick flip it’s outdated a little but pretty much only lipstick work.

Hey, I’m pretty new as well. I’m doing this whole rei thing with my dad and will eventually start my own. So far We have a multifamily & a single family in Socorro. I’m familiar with the area being that I grew up in Socorro but Horizon is seeing a lot of growth. Being right next to each other I see the area will eventually grow as well. The new shopping center, the amazon distribution center & Chick Fil A on eastlake can only mean one thing. I’m hoping to find a realtor soon that can help me find mls deals as well. If you have a Facebook there are El Paso real estate investing groups and there are a few wholesalers that I’m aware of. Good luck!
