Post: Pouring Concrete for a House

I am considering purchasing an older house in a great area that never had a concrete driveway put in. Disregarding any fees from the city for permits, what might I expect to pay psf for concrete and labor?

The house has about 50 ft of front footage, and I would probably need to pour it 12 ft wide or so. So 50x12 = 600 sq ft or so total.

Just looking for some rough numbers here, I realize the cost will vary one location to another.

Hey everyone,

I am looking to provide a washer & dryer for one of my nicer rental properties. I am willing to spend about 1,500 or so if possible. Looking for the brushed steel look, I like to avoid the white looking appliances. Does anyone know where to get a deal here in DFW ?

Here is an example of the appearnce I am looking for:

Thanks

@Shawn Thom Thats unfortunate, although it doesn't really seem to be their fault directly.

Are you going to continue working with them moving forward or are feathers ruffled after this experience?

I miss being able to buy off the MLS, will I ever be able to again....

@Dennis Lanni when you say the direct mail market will change, do you mean less or more crowded in the future why or why not?

Also how do you go about calling home owners directly?

@Shawn Thom You spoke about the title company you work with being bought out, was this title company formerly Adobe Title by chance?

You need to market for your own deals, off the MLS.

To clarify @Phil Z. & @Jon Klaus using the 10k for marketing, is this to get wholesaling going or to market for your own deals for flip?

And the remaining 90k, this is your "pool" of money to use for leverage for flips you come across.

Then flip and wholesale to build your bank account.

Is this the idea you guys have? Thanks

@AC Cooley What a wonderful story, sounds like your 2014 will be impressive indeed!

Like @Mark Updegraff I would like to know how you got into wholesaling, what lists your targeting and how many mailers your sending out a month or any other strategies you have implemented

Congrats again on the hard work
