The biggest thing preventing me from biting the bullet and investing is picking a location since I will be investing virtually. What 3 things are you looking for before you choose an area to invest in?
Thanks in advance! Would also love to hear from you via message and connect.

Investors,
When wholesalers cold call/message you, what makes you more inclined to work with them? What characteristics are you looking for in a wholesaler?
Thank you in advance for your input! Feel free to send connection requests - I'd love to network.

What events led up to your first deal? Was it a stroke of luck or a stroke of genius? What did you do right and what could have gotten you there faster?

Post: Wholesaling while being a RE Agent - conflict of interest?

Hey everyone! My short-term goal is to be a wholesaler in order to earn an active income while learning the ropes of investing.
I enrolled in a real estate agent course as a means of education, creating another stream of income, gaining credibility, and accessing the MLS. However, it came to my attention that there may be a conflict of interest in being a wholesaler and real estate agent, especially regarding marketing.
Does anyone have some insight they could shed on this? Anyone out there doing both?
Thanks in advance and please connect!
Thanks Bryant! I will absolutely be in touch.
I am new to the world of wholesaling and am located in NYC. Since finding wholesale deals is hard to come by here, I am looking to do deals outside of the city limits. I use Propstream and plan to primarily use that to look for deals vs. driving for dollars.
What advice do you have for getting to know things about an area that can't be easily quantified? Ie road-noise, extent of roof damage, etc.
Thank you in advance. Also, please feel free to send a connection request. I'd love to network!
Post: First step - Finding a great deal or building cash buyers list?

I am new to wholesaling and my #1 priority is letting morals and ethics guide my business while building my reputation. So I ask...
Is it best to first find incredible deals and trust that there will always be someone to jump on them? Or should I build up a cash buyers list first so I can increase the odds of the contract going through and not letting down the seller?
Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Also looking to network with as many people as possible - feel free to send connection requests and message me!
