@Thomas S. I have decided that since we are going to have the parking lot re-striped anyway, to just add an additional stripe along that walk way as part of the property improvement and also should show good effort as landlord. the post generated a lot more response than I was thinking lol. good to be cautious but I agree with you as far as not good to operate any business out of fear.

@David Sisson true.. but since its the tenants family and not the actual tenant who has made the request, I am hesitant to open the can of worms if you will.. thanks for your advice though!
