Real estate doesn't have to be scary! We want to remove the fear of investing and leave you with the tools and knowledge to leverage your assets and scale up. The Sarita Sells Team has helped numerous house hackers and investors purchase investment properties in Illinois. The one thing that will inevitably come up with every buyer is nerves. There is a lot of uncertainty in investing. The endless hypotheticals will give you analysis paralysis. Unless, you know how to navigate the market, properties, and the transaction. By attending our meetup, you will learn how to make more educated decisions and let go of your nerves.

Hi Roy! Good for you for getting out to your first meetup. I would say dress business causal. Polo/collar shirt with khakis/nice pants will be fine. Everyone will dress a little different. Sometimes people wear suits or go the opposite direction and make it very casual. Wear what makes you feel good! It's really about bringing your best self. But if you're still waiting more insight about the wardrobe...look at photos from the meetups past events. I hope this helps!

Welcome to the BP community. You should definitely talk with @Daniel Bourdeau He's an airbnb expert in the Chicago(land) market. He's an active investor and agent so he understands all sides of these strategy from his personal and professional experiences. Defiantly check out some of the local meetups. Each will offer a different perspective of the market. @Renee Krystek has a wonderful company that helps with Airbnb strategies as well. Both great people to speak with.

There will be a lot of naysayers about Airbnb....you just need to know the rules and follow the advice from the experts. The biggest thing you can do is to have a back up plan in case airbnb restrictions get worse for whatever market you buy in. Which means that the deal has to work as both an STR arbitrage and regular rental/flip.

BP has a section for this under the Real Estate Classifieds- Real estate events & Meetups. Best of luck to you!
