"combined with high property taxes and renter-friendly laws in Oregon makes me nervous to get my feet wet in this particular pond."

I closed on a rental in late January 2019. It did not rent until June. Now, it's tax time and I don't want to miss out on any deductions or other available opportunities. Anybody have suggestions or resources they can point me to?
The recent BP podcast has my mind racing!

My question would be "What is the alternative?"

So I am closing on a rental home from out of town in two days. I spoke with my realtor today and the seller still has all his possession in the home and does not plan on having them out by the time I close. Shoud I push back my closing date?

As a matter of fact, Douglas reached out to me. Crestcore does look like a great company and I plan to see what services they offer. Thanks @Mark Ainley
