from all the reading and discussions from various forums, they recommend having a CPA with experience in real estate on your power team that works a lot with investors and/or is an investor. What's your thoughts?

I am looking for a good reputable CPA in the Houston area that has a background in real estate investing and is also an active investor. I live in League City but I'm willing to drive to surrounding cities within the Houston area. Thank you in advance to everyone that provide any leads or recommendations.

when I read the ad, it seems as though the seller of the property is informing all interested buyers that part of the purchasing process includes being approved by the park or community in which they are purchasing the property. It wouldn't make sense to buy the mobile home to find out that your application for lot rent did not get approved. I don't think the ad is intended to come off as being discriminatory.

-Purchase price < $ 50,000
-Seller financing preferred unless cost of mobile home < $2,000.00
Thank you in advance

Kim- I would do a market analysis of the area to determine if it's a hotspot. The last thing you want is to purchase a property, rehab it and have it sit on the market with no interested buyers. Also, interview the neighbors because they will typically give you some valuable information about the area. I agree with the other posts, find a good GC that can give you estimated repair cost. Good luck!

Welcome to BP Taylor! I live in Houston as well and I'm new to real estate investments! I have been apart of the BP family for several months and I have learned a wealth of information! Definitely check out the podcast and read the free book "The Ultimate Guide" to real estate. I will send you a colleague request so we can learn together and stay connected. Good luck to you and your wife!!!

Good morning everyone, I'm trying to complete my real estate team before acquiring my first property. Does anyone know a good tax CPA in the Houston area. Preferably closer to the League City area and a good Handyman in Galveston? Thanks in advance and have a great day!!
