@Jennifer Brown at this point I'm just using him for the LLC but I will be talking to him about using him for my deals.

I have a bank that I currently have all of my mortgages with that's somewhat local (Prosperity Bank)

As far as a CPA, my attorney gave me a name, by I haven't checked him out or talked to him yet. Hope to early next week.

hello Jennifer, welcome to BP.

Don't mean to hi-jack your post, but I'm in the process of building my team as well and will be interested in seeing the replies.

I have contacted an attorney in Fort Worth (Frank Newman) and am using him to create my LLC/series LLC to place my current properties into.

The team member I'm having the hardest time finding is a CPA.

I'm currently looking for more deals in either SF, MF, commercial, or anything that makes sense.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Scott

Thanks for the reply, I could use the credit card for emergencies too, but I prefer staying debt free.

I'm thinking about being aggressive and bringing my balance down to 5k per unit, hoping all of them don't have an issue at the same time and if it were to happen that way, I can just pay from my normal 9-5 money or credit cards. This will give me more money for the next deal.

Just curious as to how much you guys are keeping in your emergency fund per door, unit, etc... for cap-ex, vacancies, repairs...? I've been putting away a certain percentage ea month, but at what point can I skim the top to use for another down payment on another unit? How low can I take the emergency fund? I currently have 3 SFH's that are worth 140 average and am ready for another. We put all rent money back into the rentals and we live off our regular 9-5's And actually if something were to happen we could just pay out of our regular income, but want to make sure the rentals can take care of themselves. Thanks for your input, Scott

Hello, I'm looking for a fence company in Fort Worth to build a wooden privacy fence. I've never had fence work done before so I'm not sure who to use. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks again, Scott

hello @Ryan Plummer, I would love to attend this event, but being in Fort Worth TX, I won't be able to. Would there be a possibility of having this event recorded or have it streamed live?
