Hello Everyone,

Our meetup will be held Wednesday, May 17th at DK Marias Tex Mex in South Austin at 1807 W. Slaughter Ln from 7-9.

The speaker is TBD but regardless we will have a great group come out to talk about current deals, present questions and discuss any opportunities they may have available. This is great chance to meet other investors local to the area whether it be to learn or build a relationship that may lead to partnering or leads.

I will update this if a speaker is confirmed, if not we will engage in conversation on current deals, topics people are interested in and work to build the meetup to be catered to what the majority of the group would like to learn about.

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone.

Hey everyone,

We had a mix up scheduling the speaker and will cancel the meetup this month and resume in May. Going forward we will be consistent on the third Wednesday of the month.

Sorry for the short notice.

Hello Everyone,

Our March meetup will be held at NWNW Brewery on Slaughter and Mopac. We will have a room reserved from 7-9.

Our guest speaker this month will be Lamar Cannon. Lamar is an active wholesaler in the Central Texas area and has been featured on the BiggerPockets Podcast, show 31 and has ran a successful wholesaling company for several years. Lamar is known for being very motivational and outgoing. In this event we have asked him to speak on using systems to help automate the immense amount of time that goes into wholesaling and provide tips for those starting out and more advanced methods for the experienced investors.

Lamar's Website: https://www.lamarbuyshouses.com/

BiggerPockets Episode 31: https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2013/08/15/wholesaling-business-lamar-cannon/

I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and hopefully several new ones

 Awesome Thanks!

that’s great news! I don’t even know if the city has put a lien on the title yet. Is there a way I can check that out myself?

Hi, maybe I didn’t make myself clear but I’m planning on offering more than the cash offer to incentivize it for him - “so I would need to offer a little more to make the deal worthwhile for the seller compared to the cash offer”. I also have a hard money lender I could work with so I’m weighing up that option. Sorry for any confusion.
